On August 19th, Starscream Communications hosted a drinks reception on the site of the original What Hi Fi office in Teddington. Our founder Richard Melville worked on What Hi Fi as Editor in the late 00’s and the team have many happy memories of that time. At the same time, newer members of the What Hi Fi team got to see where it all started.
After the reception, we boarded a private boat (sans Succession style deck shoes) and spent 90 minutes on the Thames before arriving in Richmond for a private meal upstairs at the IVY Brasserie, Richmond. We also ordered a cake which was far too big.
