During Spring 2018, Starscream curated and hosted an exhibition for the legendary rock photographer Jill Furmanovsky in collaboration with Abbey Road Studios at The Barbican Arts Centre. The exhibition was also sponsored by Starscream clients, Audio-Technica and Naim Audio.

Starscream, amplify your story. Inside Abbey Road Studios

Jill has been photographing great musicians for almost fifty years. Some of her best-known work includes Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, Queen and Amy Winehouse (to name just a few!). As part of our three year project with Abbey Road Studios, we hired Jill to document a year at Abbey Road. The images she took were put into her exhibition at the Barbican to show the past and present of the iconic studios. Some of the more recent artists she photographed during that period included, Nile Rodgers, Royal Blood, Novelist and Mura Masa.

The artists featured in the images and press were all invited to the launch evening. Over three months, 15k people attended the exhibit and after the event, Starscream donated a hi-fi system to the Barbican Music Library.

This event featured online including coverage in The City of London Government website, The Independent, and TheVinylFactory.com. Jill was also interviewed on BBC London Radio about the event to an audience of around 500K.
