Screening of Freakscene: The Story of Dinosaur Jr.

In 2021, Starscream were given the opportunity by Munro Films to go to an exclusive screening of Freakscene: The Story of Dinosaur Jr at Soho Screening Rooms. The documentary followed the career of the hugely impactful American Rock band, Dinosaur Jr who influenced bands such as Nirvana, Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine. It included unseen footage and new interviews with the band members and their close peers. We brought along journalists from Techradar, Louder and Metro to join us. For many of us, it was the first time we had entered a cinema since the beginning of the pandemic so it was very exciting!

To celebrate the release of the film, our client Focusrite gave away a Scarlett 2i2 Studio Bundle in NME and a Clatt+ 2Pre in MusicTech.
