New audio products from Audio Pro, FiiO, Hidizs, and Kanto Audio introduced to press in private suite at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas. 186 pieces of coverage, 5 awards and a new cassette player…

In January 2024, Starscream attended CES in Las Vegas and held an Audio Showcase for media; launching exciting new audio products from Audio ProFiiOHidizs, and Kanto Audio.

Across three days, from our spacious private suite at the MGM Grand, we invited key media from Techradar, What Hi-Fi?, Stuff,, Popular Science, Trusted Reviews, SoundGuys, Wired, Sound & Vision, and more to join us for an exclusive in-depth look at ground-breaking new products for 2024.

Curated especially for this year’s CES, innovative audio kit being launched at our Audio Showcase included: the Audio Pro C20 Wireless Active Speaker; FiiO’s R9 Desktop Streamer and CP13 Portable Cassette Player; the world’s first Hi-Fi Digital IEM Headphones from Hidizs, and the powerful ORA4 Active Desktop Speakers from Kanto Audio.

  • Audio Pro’s C20 Wireless Active Speaker is a truly versatile all-in-one solution for music and TV. Featuring AirPlay2, Google Cast, TIDAL Connect, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, ARC, built-in Phonostage, and Multiroom Capability.
  • The FiiO R9 is a flagship Audio Player/Streamer & Balanced DAC/Amplifier — delivering up to 7300mW of power output — that redefines desktop audio. The R9 works brilliantly with a host of devices including: wired headphones, wireless headphones, active speakers, smartphones, PCs, and more.
  • The CP13 is FiiO’s love-letter to the humble portable cassette player of yesteryear. Blending nostalgia with modern technology, the CP13 features USB-C charging with up to 15 hours of battery life.
  • Hidizs’ ST2 Pro – the world’s first digital in-ear monitor (IEM) headphones – feature USB-C and a built-in DAC, making them perfect for people wanting to improve the audio quality from a host of modern devices whilst on the move; including the iPhone 15.
  • Kanto Audio’s ORA4 build upon the success of their current ORA Active Desktop Speakers. With 70W of power output and support for Hi-Res audio via USB-C, the ORA4 are a high-performance compact speaker perfect for desktop use; delivering clear highs, detailed midrange, and an impressively powerful bass.

Thanks to us launching these new audio products in a private suite – away from the noisy hustle and bustle of the show floor – we were able to have in-depth conversations and one-on-one demonstrations with media, which proved extremely valuable. Journalists were able have more than just a cursory hands-on with the new gear, an extended listen, and ask any questions in a relaxing environment. In addition, they were able to enjoy a drink, and take the weight off their feet during the sessions. A welcome reprieve, as many had clocked up more than just a few thousand steps walking the halls of CES this year!

In all, over 185 pieces of coverage were generated as a result of our three day Audio Showcase – reaching an audience of over 4 billion – with articles appearing in Techradar, Gear Patrol, Forbes, What Hi-Fi?, Stuff, Popular Science, Music Tech, Rolling Stone, Ecoustics, StereoNET, and many more.

As our time in Las Vegas drew to a close, we were thrilled that several of the products featured at our Audio Showcase this year picked up well-deserved ‘Best of CES’ gongs from key media titles! These included: Audio Pro C20 from Rolling Stone, What Hi-Fi?, and Gear Patrol; FiiO’s R9 from Techradar, Popular Science, and Rolling Stone; the FiiO CP13 from Techradar, and What Hi-Fi?; and Hidizs’ ST2 Pro from Techradar.

All products were powered by our friends at TIDAL for the best audio quality and formats available.
